A Wildflower Journal is a website which attempts to share images and information on wildflowers and other flora in the Interior of British Columbia. The author is not a botanist, but is good at research and is very open to advice from others. We encourage feedback and we can edit any post or page to ensure that the information is accurate. We also accept submissions from others.
This not an attempt to create an online guidebook, but the collective total of all posts and pages will be a possible resource that can be used by others.
Some of the flowers featured may be from outside of the area, encountered on trips to other places.
If you enjoy encountering wildflowers in the outdoors, you are part of an online community that share your interests and this site is just one more effort to celebrate and learn about our flora.
